Thank you so much for the ear taping video. Just want to give you an update on Meadow. She is just a dream come true I have always wanted a dog that wanted me. I'm glad we found each other! Any time we have had any pets at our home they have always either went to the girls or my husband. Meadow don't let me out of her sight she walks behind me and follows me everywhere. I started calling her my Shadow she loves the name her ears perk up and she comes running to me! She has not had an accident in the house I take her out often and after her meals. She was great yesterday with the Grandkids they will be back over tomorrow. She was very healthy and checked out perfectly at the vet! Thank you for the wonderful, beautiful and playful Shadow. I am so impressed with R Crested, both the thoroughness of their health testing and care of their dogs, and their love and attention they shower on them. Their crested's are beloved family members, aren't 'over bred' or bred just to sell puppies, but to produce crested of wonderful quality. They absolutely do not produce pups for quantity, and I'm sure they'll do wonderfully during this spring and summers show season! Good luck at the shows, I can't wait to see what new champs you have this year! :) Thanks for everything, and mostly for being so terrific with the crested. I love our new baby, can't wait till' he gets here! Ok, he is the cutest, smartest, most fun, most wonderful puppy in the world and there's NO way I'm partying with him :) Seriously though, he's EXACTLY what I've been looking for! Aurora Dior starts her FIRST obedience class today- whoohoo!!! I'll call you after and let you know how it goes. Maybe the last week you can come out for the graduation if she makes it (haha- I'm sure she will!) Once she gets thru all this (the therapy dog and obed. class) I want to try to get her CGC (canine Good citizen) award like Tippy has from AKC. I'm SURE she can do it. In fact, I'd bet she could almost pass it now. The funny thing is that the only part that scares most dogs is the loud noises test and that won't bother Ms. Dior ONE BIT! HAHAHA!!!!! Perfect! The deafness will come in handy for that one! lol. Attaching a few of my FAVE pics of Voodoo, but trust me, I've taken a TON more. I'll have to put them all on a disc and bring them soon. :)

Very Impressed THE BEST BREEDERS!!
I am very impressed with Marla and Ellen. I have searched all over the Internet for chinese crested and lucky for me found them. They also live in Michigan. Marla was very helpful with everything answering any question I had. Also, she emailed me everyday with PICS and information about my soon to be puppy. I picked him up last week and he is adorable and such a lover. I would recommend anybody looking to purchase a crested from her!! She actually cares and loves these puppies as they are her own unlike some other breeders just out for a few bucks. I love my little Perez!!!

Very Impressed THE BEST BREEDERS!!
When I first started looking for Chinese Crested puppy I was very impressed with Marla's website. I emailed her and we talked on the phone. Marla answered all my questions and I ended up putting a down payment on an unborn puppy. I wanted a hairless girl that looked like Sophie Rose. Sophie had two of them and I picked my Febe. Marla sent me pictures sometimes twice a week from the day she was born until I got her at eight weeks. We stayed in close contact. When I picked up Febe I met all of Marla's dogs and puppies. They were all so sweet and they were all treated as part of the family Febe is just over three months old, weighing 4.1pds. She is as sweet as can be and loves kids. Whenever a kid walks by I have to struggle to hold her back. I purchased a boy Chinese crested from another breeder that Marla had on her site. His name is Reggie. Reggie and Febe love each other. I couldn't be happier and I feel very lucky to have picked the right breeder.

Hi Marla, Febe is turning one year old on the 27th of this month. I felt the need to give you an updated reference for your website. I have never, ever, met or had a dog sweeter then Febe. She follows me around the house and just wants to please me. I get smothered with kisses. The cutest thing is her need for belly rubs. She will flip herself over backwards if she can expose her belly. She snuggles in my arm at night so I can give her a belly rub till she gets tired enough to sleep. She is fully potty trained including crying at the door (because they don't bark to be let out). I do have to say it took almost the whole year to potty train he and my boy Chinese Crested Reggie (who still has accidents here and there), but if you can have the patience to get through that first year (an it is trying at times) it is all worth it! I love my dogs so much I can never get enough time with them, but if I were to able to spread my love among more dogs, I would definitely come back to Marla. Febe is the greatest, sweetest, best thing that ever happened to me! It was money well spent. Thank you Marla! Attached is a recent picture of my gang sleeping with me. I first found Marla through her website. What impressed me most was that she has volumes of photos of her Crested, taken in a home setting vs. a show ring. Her dogs do have their pedigrees (that's important, but I am not falling in love with a piece of paper) but it's pretty impressive; they are part of her family. I fell in love with Sophie Rose before I even met her from her on-line photos. Imagine my delight when upon arriving at their house, Sophie Rose greeted me at the door and gently put her paws on me. I was smitten! When I sat down there were two of them vying for lap space
immediately, Sophie Rose and Paris Hairless Hilton. So much for this being a skittish breed. These dogs were lovers! Mae Ling had given birth not long before and was in a soft sided fabric 'kennel' that Marla said she found on the Internet. Blankets inside, pretty much a plush puppy palace and completely opposite of the hard plastic and wire kennels that you see everywhere. The Mom and her pups were located in the living room, integrated with the people of the house. Mae Ling is a sweet natured girl and didn't mind when I held Madeline in the palm of my hand for what seemed to be an
eternity. I was in heaven! I must confess....I am a cat lover by nature. We only had one dog while I was growing up, a toy poodle, but cats were always a constant family pet. When I met my husband a few years ago, he came complete with a Shepard Lab mix girl that I've grown to love dearly. I brought to the marriage my old kitty that finally passed away at age 18. While I missed him, I did not want another cat and looked into small breed dogs with a cat-like personality. Through a good deal of research I've decided that a Chinese Crested was the breed for me and I went looking for a good breeder. This is what I have found: Not all Chinese Crested breeders are the same! There seems to be a great network of the good breeders that know who they are and recommend each other if they do not have puppies themselves. I had found two other breeders in the newspaper classified and went to see their puppies. There are not enough words to describe the terrible condition of their dogs and smell of their homes. At one house, I could hear what honestly sounded like fifty dogs yelping down in the basement. Her dog was terrified and trembled staying way across the room. The breeder tried to tell me that the breed is like that, very timid and always shaking. My mind thought back to the day that Sophie Rose sat calmly in my lap for about an hour. These dogs were not family members, they were a dollar sign. I am so impressed with Marla and the love and care that she gives her dogs. While I patiently wait for my dream dog to be born some day...a white HHL or all white puff girl, I enjoy watching her current puppies grow up via photos on her site and emails that she sends. Of all the breeders that I have met or written to on the Internet, Marla is my favorite. She is top notch, truly cares for her dogs and I highly recommend her.

I have been to her house in Michigan, and her puppies and dogs are getting only the very best care and socialization. Very clean - very nice, dogs are spoiled at an early age. Her breeding dogs were very carefully selected and are just beautiful! She had 2 there that turned out to be less than perfect - and are now just pets, and still are treated just as good as the others. Wanted to let ya know how much I am enjoying the babies! They were perfect angels on the trip home. I am even more impressed with how they immediately interacted with my dogs and the different environment. They are so sweet and well behaved and for the most part are using their potty pads. Their little personalities are different from any dog I have ever had. It is almost like they are little people. I want to thank you for being there through this entire process with me and being dedicated. I was telling Ellen, that is why I decided to go with your website when choosing Ringo and Lily. It is very clear that all the love and pampering you guys give your dogs is what made these two so well adjusted to us, their new brothers and sisters and new home. I hope you remember us....We purchased Lucas from you last December. Lucas is doing awesome!! Gunnar is taking a picture from his phone and will e-mail it to you. His hair is getting very fluffy and long. He is very healthy and we have gone through beginner obedience class which has helped not only at home, but he is able to handle going out with us and interacting with other people and dogs. For the most part, he is housebroken. He has become the perfect dog for us! Thanks. I have to say that Lucas is a very loving, loyal dog and his size is very nice. Only thing...since he is pure white I have to have him groomed every week. It keeps him looking great. We are so very happy with our purchase from you!!!!! Chase is so cute and lovable! He is much calmer than Lucas…funny. They play great together and always want to lay next to each other. Chase is going on the pee pads on a regular basis which makes things a whole lot easier. The vet thinks he will grow to be about 1lbs. In a nut shell…..we all love our two dogs and are extremely happy. Thanks for everything. I look forward to your response.

Highly Recommend I Love my Lucy!
I worked with Marla from the first day I saw Lucy’s picture on her web site. Marla was very professional and highly ethical. She was honest in all aspects of our agreement even when she could have received more money from another buyer. Since I picked up Lucy, I was able to observe the home conditions. The conditions were superb, very neat and super clean. All puppies lived in her home and were very clean and appeared very healthy and happy. (Mar-Sal Chinese Cresteds) I found Marla through my search for a Chinese Crested puppy. Marla's passion and knowledge was overflowing. All of her dogs were delightful! Marla loves each and every one of them. It shows in how they respond to her and she to them. I think I spent at least two hours just observing them. They delighted me in every way possible. I knew that day, that I would be back, to purchase a puppy! I didn't purchase a puppy...I got 3 :) They have brought us so much joy and entertainment. Amazing Puppy!
He is amazing and has stolen the hearts of all that have met him. He is getting taller He is the office mascot and loves going to work. He has been to the mall, the salon, Petco and anywhere that will allow me to take him in. He sleeps through the night in the bed with us and no one believes that a puppy does that so thank you. We would love another Crested in about a year so. He loves to play with his big brother and the size difference is hilarious. He chases the cats, but they seem to know that he is playing. I could never thank you enough for bringing out the best in the puppies; Memphis is very sweet and brings an instant smile to our faces. He ears are standing and his furnishings are getting long. Hey everybody! I got my puppy on Monday! Yipeeeee! I love him soooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooo much! He's such a cutie! He's nuts though! I met Marla early this year and found that we both have allot in common. Marla treats her babies as part of her family as I do myself . I would had never thought I would meet someone like her in this business. We chat just about everyday. Marla! Great Job! Don't ever let anyone tell you different. You got it goin on! Hello and Ho Ho Ho !! We just wanted to let you know how absolutely WONDERFUL our little Lexie is and to thank you for allowing us to have her. She is just over 5 months now and weighs only about 4 1/2 pounds.... but she loves to eat. Her skinny little legs are like stilts. She is just so elegant. I'm including/attaching a photo of her 2 "sisters"too (Chihuahuas). Dinky likes to lick/groom her. I have 3 available little puffy beds but they all choose to sleep in the same one - it is adorable. Her main is getting all long and flowing too, that and her Ugg boot legs. I just wanted to thank you for making our Christmas even merrier with our new addition to the family. It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of reference for R Crested Tails. I am the proud new adoptive mother to one of her darling Chinese Crested puppies, River. In my quest for the perfect match, I found Marla's website online. I contacted her and even had the opportunity to visit her at her home to meet her puppies. Her home is clean and the dogs are very well cared for. I saw a few at a time and each one was friendly, outgoing and very lovable. Since I was there in the early evening, I observed Marla putting pajamas on each puppy for bedtime. And, it was obviously not a show for me, as they walked into a doggie bed and closed their eyes for the evening such an adorable sight. When I left, there was no doubt that each of these puppies and adults were truly loved and part of her family. My daughter followed up by talking with Marla and learning more about the breed and about her particular dogs. She concurred that Marla was, indeed, providing a loving, knowledgeable environment and that she was quite the expert of this breed. Once I decided to dive into a new motherhood, I found Marla to be extremely patient and available for my many concerns, anxieties and questions. She has met me on a few occasions already, in the first two weeks, and guided me through some of the grooming techniques. I have also purchased a few pair of pajamas from her website and she must have mystical dust as one of the materials because once I put River in his pj?s, he knows it is bedtime and off to sleep he goes.

248-302-4510I recently decided to purchase a dog and ran across a picture of "Porsha" on the internet. She was the most unique and beautiful dog I had ever seen. I instantly fell in love with her picture; she looked like a little pony. I immediately emailed R Crested and Marla immediately returned my email. Marla was an excellent resource of information about the breed. She emailed pictures and a video of "Porsha." Once I decided to purchase "Porsha," Marla was there to answer all of my questions with regard to training and grooming. She also emailed a list of pet products she thought I would need. "Porsha" soon arrived and words cannot explain how much I love this little girl. She is the sweetest, gentlest thing ever. She loves being on my lap and giving me kisses all over my face. She gets so excited to see me that she pees just a little, which I think is cute. She sleeps in the bed with me and does not disturb me at all during the night. I have to wake HER up in the morning. She is so bright and was housetrained within a week! She rarely barks and when she does, it's just one "woof." I did not want a "yappy" dog. This dog is the perfect dog for me. I renamed "Porsha" and her new full name is Empress Luli, but I call her "Luli." "Luli" has changed my life. She is my baby.
